I started to play today on x2 and i was wondering what is the meta class(es) for a solo mostly player that wants to combine pvp and pve in equal parts?
I observed and it looks like its mostly around sag/dualist/adventurier/summoners but i'm opened to different suggestions.
Glad:
Looks quite strong and versatile being able to handle himself in solo/small scale pvp as well as events/sieges long lasting fights being not very CD dependent
on the downside for me it looks a bit boring and i dont have much experience with it[yet]
Daggers:
Most of the ppl run TH but personally i think endgame PW/AW will be a better fit since dodge and plainswalking seem to be better skills to counter classes like gladiator and other daggers compared with mirage and AW skills which seems, from quick discussions with some players, not working necessarily as intended.
Also the dash factor is now part of PW(afaik) toolkit aswell with the implementation of the new "flicker" skill.
AW seems to be very good in the PVE DPS category due to high str and hex.
Archers:
Looks quite onesided with HE being top dog with good con/crit/crit-chance as well as dash
SLH:
Seems a good fit(i have one lvl 77) and so far it was great for aoe farming and little skirmishes but somehow looks a bit squishy till passiove paralisis/elements on armour
Tanks:
SK: Seems to be a good fit for PVE especially after SOS
Paladin: Seems to go well for solo as well but i'm uncertain how kitable it will be on higher levels by classes like tricksters/dashers.
As the server is quite at the begining its hard to formulate a endgame conclusion and the data i got it is mostly on personal observations/chats with hero/top pvp people and personal trials of the class.
Please feel free to drop some lines about it; I'm currently trying my luck on a PW(boxed bd)and looks good in cata(no pvp yet.)
