It has always bothered me that Gladiator continues to gain skill levels in Blunt mastery, Fatal Smash, Hammer Crush all the way up till level 74. However, they continue to *never* use them because Triple Sonic is too much damage to pass up, and Sonic Move, Sonic Rage, and Sonic Barrier all REQUIRE dualswords to be equipped (as do Double Slash, Triple Slash, and TSS, but i think those are ok).

My suggestion is to add to Sonic move/barrier/rage "Dualsword, sword, or blunt weapon required". Furthermore, to make a blunt/shield playstyle a more realistic option, also add to the gladiator a shield mastery passive. I believe it was in the original intention to allow Gladiators to play a "half/tanky brawler" and it was just never fully implemented, and people like to see big damage numbers from TSS so no one ever questioned it.

Concerns would obviously be weapon swapping abuse, (swap hammer, stun, swap sword, tss) et cetera, and while i think the added layer of complexity might be balance in itself, keyboard macro could make this zero effort and possibly should consider a weapon swap timer/cooldown to prevent this.

I would love to see more variation in class playstyles in general. Every glad in the world has equipped the same BW heavy set and grabbed the same sls*sls and ignored that we have a stun skill. I want to see glad try +3 CON dyes and grab that doom plate set just to be a beefy menace chasing down archers on the siege field.

We also get light mastery no one uses as well! We have light armor sets that give MP regen or casting speed, why not a light variation that provides mental/root resists or maybe a shield def rate? Think of the hoplite soldier, shield and defense fighting wearing light armor for mobility.
