The Arena of Trials is a group instanced zone in which players can challenge the strongest demons from the underworld. The arena consists of 10 stages and 25 bosses with unique skills!

THE OPENING OF THE ARENA WILL TAKE PLACE ON NOVEMBER 3 AT 19:30 (GMT +3)​


Conditions for participation:​

  • Access to the instance is available from NPC Spiculus in the Hunter's Village
  • A full group of 9 unique players can take part in the Raid
  • Players have 30 minutes to complete an entire stage
  • The battle is available once a week, the cooldown is every Wednesday at 06:30 (GMT +3).
  • You don't need a mark to enter the arena.
  • For completing each stage, you will receive a special quest item indicating the completion of the stage.
  • You can only take part in the raid from 1 character, check by HWID
  • It's not possible to enter a certain stage of the arena. All stages alternate from Stage I to Stage V each week.

Other features:​

  • Boss skills are unique and unpredictable. Explore Bosses and choose tactics for each!
  • Dead players cannot re-enter the instance through NPCs, use resurrection scrolls
  • Groups that fail the battle will be able to re-take part in the Raid until the Bosses are defeated
  • Bosses have a strong vulnerability to dualswords, daggers and bows, and are also vulnerable to magic attacks
  • For the completion of the stage, all members of the group receive a guaranteed reward + random drop from the Boss. To get it, be sure to damage the boss.
  • The mark can be upgraded in any arena (ARENA MUST BE ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE MARK). If the player does not have a mark, then after passing the Arena he will receive a Mark 1 lvl.

Raid Abundance​


Raid Abundance is a passive skill that every party member who successfully completes a Raid will gain. The skill is given to the character forever, affects all sub-classes, does not work at the Olympiad.

Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 1%, PvE defense by 3% and rates by 2% for Adena/Drop/Spoil
2 Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 2%, PvE defense by 3%, PvE damage by 3% and rates by 4% for Adena/Drop/Spoil
3 Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 3%, PvE defense by 5%, PvE damage by 5% and rates by 6% for Adena/Drop/Spoil
4 Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 5%, PvE defense by 7%, PvE damage by 7% and rates by 8% for Adena/Drop/Spoil
5 Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 7%, PvE defense by 10%, PvE damage by 10%, rates by 10% for Adena/Drop/Spoil and Speed by 3

Unique Arena Cloaks​


As a reward for completing the stages of the Arena, players with a small chance will be able to get unique cloaks with effects. In total, 6 types of cloaks can be obtained in the Arena, most of which fall from certain Elite Bosses.

Happy to see new things but in my opinion constantly increasing PVP ATK damage ruins lineage 2 soul

We dont like short pvp with 15k damage, further increasing pvp damage by 15% is overkill imo, you already boost all classes on balance 2.0 :(
anyway excited.

anyway excited.
Soon we will remove all PvP additions from the skill, make only PVE bonuses and HP bonus, ty for feedback

Consider new bonuses such as:
Lv 1 --> PVE dmg +3% PVE defense +3% Stun Paralyze Mental defense +5%
Lv 2 --> PVE dmg +5% PVE defense +5% Stun Paralyze Mental defense +5% All rates +5%
Lv 3 --> PVE dmg +5% PVE defense +5% Stun Paralyze Mental defense +7% All rates +10%
Lv 4 --> PVE dmg +8% PVE defense +8% Stun Paralyze Mental defense +7% All rates +10%
Lv 5 --> PVE dmg +10% PVE defense +10% Stun Paralyze Mental defense +10% All rates +10%

Something like this because increase even more the HP CP doesnt make sense, people alrdy walk with 20k 30k HP and Increase all rates by 15% as you wrote is really too much .... too big boost 15% while 10% is big but not too big.

We are here today with news regarding a new instance. Please read them carefully and pass on to your friends the latest decisions we have made. I also want to thank everyone for their interest in this innovation and for your active feedback, which helped us in making the decisions below.

As a result of the latest work, we made the following key decisions:
  1. Changed the stats for the passive skill Raid's Abundance:
    Level 1: Increases Max. HP/MP/CP by 1%, PvE defense by 3% and rates by 2% for Adena/Drop/Spoil. Doesn't work for the Olympics.

  2. Everyone liked the Arena view and we plan to develop this theme by applying this functionality to other key bosses in the future, as well as adding the ability to view the current HP level of the boss and his active debuffs.
  3. We received a lot of messages in support of this nature, «What happens if I didn’t manage to pass stage 1, I can no longer pass stage 2?» Answer: you can always go through stage 1, the progress of the Arena is tied to a specific character, and not to any date. Reasonable questions were about how to be newcomers who have just entered or missed a few weeks, how can they catch up with the rest? Answer: if the majority of players like the Arena and we will implement it from the start of new servers, then we will provide an opportunity for newcomers to catch up with the main part of the server. We are aware that with the system of stamps for each stage, it will be more and more difficult to find a group.
  4. As for the timing, previously we planned to release one stage every week. We have revised this process and now the stages will be released less frequently, and information about the release date of the new stage will be given in this thread. The next stage is scheduled for November 16th. Follow the news!

@Guldan you should allow this bonus to be moved inside accounts of the same IP somehow, otherwise its quite useless because people use many chars and if this bonus is stuck to 1 char less people will feel the need to have it and so less people try the Arena.
